Truffle-tobacco nose with sour cherry and fruit’n’nut tree aromatics, there’s gamey beast-hide, and a purple storm raining minerals. Fine and radiant, with cool blue fruits - powder-tannined, nutty-inky-and-mineral in the mouth, this is Ribera del Duero from on high. Majestic wine.

This amazing wine is now showing the benefit of a decade's biodynamic vineyard work. Carefully managed to control exposure to oxygen and utilizing lees contact add texture, the wine is fermented in large wooden vats before maturation in 100% new French oak. We'd urge that it be kept and enjoyed, for it really is a remarkable, individual wine … and a far cry from the "made for Parker recipe wines” that are so often at this level – all extract, oak and sugar but devoid of finesse or individuality!
