In the late 90s Telmo and Pablo went into the schist-soiled mountains above Malaga and regenerated some old mountain bush-vines of Moscatel. Since then, they have been making MR and Molino Real from gently dried Mountain Moscatel, but for some time have sought to extend their Malaga activity. A new winery has been built, and—ta-da!—a new dry Moscatel is born.

A dry white selection of the mountain-top Moscatel from which Telmo makes his fabulous honeysuckle and schist sweet whites. Telmo and Pablo have spent 15 years renovating the mountain ‘umbrias’ – super-steep schist slopes at 500-1000 metres altitude. Recently, they have capitalized a new winery atop the mountain and now fully kitted out this gives them the option of making a rare dry white from 100% Moscatel de Alejandría, grown in the town of Cómeta. It’s hand-picked, organically grown, fermented with natural yeast in stainless and aged in tank 9 months.
